Rayak Air Base is Lebanon's first air base and the place where the Lebanese Air Force was born on June 1, 1949. In the 1950s, the RAF sent its own instructors to help the Lebanese Airforce. Rayak Air Base is situated 3½ km east of Farah’s Garden.

Ferzol, also spelled Forzol, Ferzul or Fourzol, is a village located in the Zahlé District of the Beqaa Governorate in Lebanon. El Fourzol is situated south of Nabi Ayla, and west of Ablah. Fourzol is situated 3½ km north of Farah’s Garden.

Zahlé is a city in eastern Lebanon, and the capital and largest city of Beqaa Governorate, Lebanon. With around 150,000 inhabitants, it is the third-largest city in Lebanon after Beirut and Tripoli and the fourth-largest taking the whole urban area.
