Rayak Air Base is Lebanon's first air base and the place where the Lebanese Air Force was born on June 1, 1949. In the 1950s, the RAF sent its own instructors to help the Lebanese Air Force. Rayak Air Base is situated 3½ km east of Farah’s Garden.

Fourzol

Village

Ferzol, also spelled Forzol, Ferzul or Fourzol, is a village located in the Zahlé District of the Beqaa Governorate in Lebanon. It lies approximately six to eight kilometres north of Zahlé, the principal city of the Beqaa Valley, along the road toward Baalbek, at an elevation of roughly 1,000 metres above sea level. Fourzol is situated 3½ km north of Farah’s Garden.

Niha is a village in the Bekaa Valley about 18 km north of Zahlé. It is famous for its Roman archeological ruins in the outskirts, and in particular two lower Roman temples that date back to the 1st century AD. Niha is situated 6 km north of Farah’s Garden.
