Greek Orthodox Church Miskolc

The Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church and its Liturgical Museum can be found in the Downtown of Miskolc The church was built between 1785 and 1806 in Zopf style.

The Wooden Church is a church in Miskolc, Hungary. It is built of carved wood. The present building was built in 1999 in place of the previous one that was destroyed by arson in 1997.

National Theatre of Miskolc

The National Theatre of Miskolc is the main theatre of Miskolc, and the oldest theatre company of Hungary. Its current Classicist and Neo-baroque building built between 1847 and 1857, is in the city centre, in Széchenyi street and is home to not only theatrical plays, but also to events like the International Opera Festival of Miskolc.

Szirma is a suburban area of the city of Southeast Miskolc, Hungary, with a population of 4235. Szirma once was a village and has been part of Miskolc since 1950. Nowadays it is a peaceful and a family-friendly area with easy access to city centre. Szirma is situated 5 km southeast of Jókai-lakótelep.
