Little Ross

Little Ross is a 29-acre island with a lighthouse on the Solway Coast south of the town of Kirkcudbright in Galloway, Scotland. It is next to Meikle Ross on the mainland, which is a headland, and there are two small rocks off it, Sugarloaf and Fox Craig.

High Banks cup and ring markings

The High Banks cup and ring markings are a series of Neolithic or Bronze Age carvings on an outcrop of rock near High Banks farm, 3 km SE of Kirkcudbright, Dumfries and Galloway. They are one of the best collections of cup and ring markings in Galloway.
