Isle of Lismore

Lismore is an island ten miles north of Oban in the sea inlet of Loch Linnhe. It's one of the Inner Hebrides islands, but little developed for tourism, and overlooked by visitors who sail by on the ferries.

St Moluag’s Cathedral

St Moluag's Cathedral is a church located on the Scottish island of Lismore just off the coast of Oban. Despite its name it is no longer a cathedral as it is a church of the Church of Scotland. St Moluag’s Cathedral is situated 2 miles northeast of Baligrundle.

Achanduin Castle, is a castle, now in ruins, located about 5.0 kilometres west of Achnacroish on the north-western coastline of the island of Lismore, in Argyll and Bute, Scotland. Achanduin Castle is situated 2½ miles southwest of Baligrundle.

Achnacroish is a hamlet on the Scottish island of Lismore. The harbour serves the ferry between Lismore and Oban. The hamlet has the island's primary school.

Benderloch is a village in Argyll and Bute, Scotland. The name is derived from Beinn eadar dà loch, meaning "mountain between two lochs". Benderloch lies on the A828 road in the coastal parish of Ardchattan and Muckairn, Argyll, Scotland. Benderloch is situated 4½ miles east of Baligrundle.

Dunbeg

Dunbeg, formerly known as Dunstaffnage, is a village about 2+1⁄2 miles outside of Oban, Scotland. It has a population of just under 1,000. It is home to the Scottish Association for Marine Science, one of the primary marine science centres in the UK. Dunbeg is situated 5 miles southeast of Baligrundle.
