Farr is a large area in Strathnairn, about 12 kilometres south of Inverness, in the Highland of Scotland. Much of the area is spread along the B851 single track road.

Inverernie is a small settlement, with a local shop, within Farr and the wider area of Strathnairn in the Highlands of Scotland. This corner of Farr was originally home to Inverernie Estate before it was later sold in the mid 20th century. Inverernie is situated 2½ miles north of Socaich.
