Broch of Ayre, also known as St. Mary's Broch, is an Iron Age broch in Orkney, Scotland.

The Italian Chapel is a highly ornate Catholic chapel on Lamb Holm in Orkney, Scotland. It was built during the Second World War by Italian prisoners of war, who were housed on the previously uninhabited island while they constructed the Churchill Barriers to the east of Scapa Flow. Italian Chapel is situated 1½ miles east of Crow Taing.

Holm, also spelled Ham, is a parish on Mainland, Orkney. An adjacent Sound, running between Mainland, and Burray, is named after Holm. It has since been blocked up by the Churchill Barriers. Holm is situated 2 miles northeast of Crow Taing.

HMS Royal Oak

HMS Royal Oak was one of five Revenge-class battleships built for the Royal Navy during the First World War. Completed in 1916, the ship first saw combat at the Battle of Jutland as part of the Grand Fleet. HMS Royal Oak is situated 3 miles northwest of Crow Taing.
