The Summer Isles are an archipelago off the coast of Ross and Cromarty in the northwest Highlands of Scotland. The largest island, Tanera Mòr, is occasionally inhabited.

Tanera Beag or Tanera Beg is an uninhabited island in the Summer Isles off north west Scotland. It is called "Tanera Beag" to distinguish it from Tanera Mòr, "Big Tanera".

Isle Ristol, the innermost of the Summer Isles in Scotland, is a Scottish Wildlife Trust Reserve. Lying roughly 12 miles north of Ullapool in Wester Ross, it is a tidal island, in Loch an Alltain Duibh, that is separated by a narrow channel from Old Dorney Bay.

Coigach is a peninsula north of Ullapool, in Wester Ross in the Northwest Highlands of Scotland. The area consists of a traditional crofting and fishing community of a couple of hundred houses located between mountain and shore on a peninsula looking over the Summer Isles and the sea.

Achnahaird is a small settlement on Achnahaird Bay in Ross and Cromarty, in the Scottish council area of Highland. The beach at Achnahaird Bay was used in the filming of 'The Eagle'.
