Grand Piton

Grand Piton is a peak in Cilaos, Arrondissement de Saint-Pierre and has an elevation of 1,462 metres. Grand Piton is situated nearby to the hamlet Ilet de Geule Rouge, as well as near Îlet du Bonnet Carré.

Cirque de Cilaos is a cirque mostly located in Réunion National Park. As it is in the inner zone of the park, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, providing some excellent hiking opportunities and some jaw dropping waterfalls.

Cilaos is a town and commune on the French island of Réunion in the Indian Ocean. It is located centrally on the island, in a caldera of altitude 1,214 m. The caldera is also named for the community.
