Cijin Tianhou Temple

The Cijin Tianhou Temple, also known as the Cihou Tianhou Temple, or Chi Jin Mazu Temple, is a temple dedicated to the Chinese Goddess Mazu, who is the Goddess of Sea and Patron Deity of fishermen, sailors and any occupations related to sea/ocean.

Cihou Fort or Cihou Battery is a historic fort in Cijin District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan, formerly guarding the northern entrance to Kaohsiung Harbor. Cihou Fort is situated 450 metres west of Cijin Tianhou Temple.

The Kaohsiung Lighthouse, also known as the Cihou Lighthouse, is a historic lighthouse in Cijin District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Situated atop Cihou Mountain, it overlooks the entrance to the Port of Kaohsiung and has played an important role in the port’s development since the late 19th century. Kaohsiung Lighthouse is situated 410 metres northwest of Cijin Tianhou Temple.
