Kafsokalyvia is a settlement and idiorrhythmic skete located on Mount Athos. It is located at the southern edge of the Athos peninsula. Kafsokalyvia is named after Maximos Kausokalybites, a 14th-century Christian hermit. Agia Triada is situated 1¼ km west of Agios Nilos.

Agios Nilos is the name of an area of Mount Athos that belongs to the Monastery of Great Lavra. It is located on the southeastern side of Mount Athos. It is named after Saint Nilos the Myrrh-streamer, who was a hermit in the cell of the Virgin Mary that now bears his name.

Kerasia is a settlement in Mount Athos. It is located at an elevation of 581 metres on the southwestern slopes of the main peak of Mount Athos. Located just to the east of Little St. Anne's Skete and Katounakia, it is inhabited by a few dozen monks. Kerasia is situated 3 km west of Agios Nilos.

The settlement of Vigla on the southeastern tip of the Athonite peninsula is not to be confused with Megali Vigla, a 510 metre-high peak within the Mount Athos monastic territory that is less than 1.5 km from the border with Greece. Vigla, Mount Athos is situated 3½ km east of Agios Nilos.
