Whites Butte is a 4,860-foot prominence adjacent the course of the Colorado River near the beginning of the Western Grand Canyon. The butte lies at the terminus of Travertine Canyon, the adjacent canyon west of Hermit Canyon.

Vesta Temple is a 6,299-foot-elevation summit located in the Grand Canyon, in Coconino County of northern Arizona, US. It is situated eight miles west-northwest of Grand Canyon Village, and immediately northeast of Mimbreno Point. Marsh Butte is one mile northeast, Eremita Mesa immediately southeast, and nearest higher neighbor Diana Temple is one mile north.

Hermits Rest is a structure built in 1914 at the western end of Hermit Road at the south rim of the Grand Canyon in Arizona, United States. The Hermit Trail, a hiking trail that extends to the Colorado River, begins about ¼ mile beyond the shuttle bus stop at Hermits Rest.
