Wether Hill is a fell in the English Lake District, between Martindale and Haweswater. It lies on the main north-south ridge of the Far Eastern Fells between Loadpot Hill and High Raise.

Loadpot Hill is a fell in the English Lake District, between Haweswater and Ullswater. Loadpot Hill is situated 1½ miles northwest of Skreel Side.

High Raise is a fell in the English Lake District, standing to the west of Haweswater Reservoir in the Far Eastern Fells. Note that another High Raise is the highpoint of the Central Fells. High Raise is situated 2 miles southwest of Skreel Side.

Mardale is a glacial valley in the Lake District, in northern England. The valley used to have a hamlet at its head, called Mardale Green, but this village was submerged in the late 1930s when the water level of the valley's lake, Haweswater, was raised to form Haweswater Reservoir by Manchester Corporation. Mardale is situated 2½ miles south of Skreel Side.
