Ooty

Ooty, short for Ootacamund and officially Udhagamandalam, is a popular hill resort in the state of Tamil Nadu in Southern India. The name Udhagamandalam is derived from the Toda word "othakal-mund" which means "house in mountains".
Coonoor

Coonoor is a famous hill station that is 17 km from Ooty in Tamil Nadu, India. It is probably the second most popular hill station in the Nilgiris. The hill station stands at a height of 1,839 metres and is known for its great picnic spots and picturesque surroundings.
Kotagiri

Kotagiri is a hill station and a municipality in the Nilgiris district of the Indian state, Tamil Nadu. The Nilgiri hills have been the traditional home of the "Kota" tribes.

Aruvankadu

Aruvankadu, is a small town located in the Nilgiris of Tamil Nadu in India between Coonoor and Ooty, at distances 5 km and 12 km respectively. It houses the Cordite Factory, one of the 40 Indian Ordnance Factories, and one of the oldest, established in 1903.
Gudalur

Gudalur is a small town near Ooty in Tamil Nadu, India. Gudalur is a cheap alternative to Ooty as there is very little traffic and accommodation is not that expensive. Nature is the main attraction of Gudalur.
Devala

Devala or Pandallur or Mangorange is a small town in the Nilgiris of Tamil Nadu, India. The town is full of tea estates and is very scenic. It is not developed as a tourist destination.
