Jostedalsbreen is the largest glacier on the European mainland. It is mainly located in the county of Sogn og Fjordane in Norway partly in Oppland county.

Olden and Loen are neighbouring villages in Sogn og Fjordane. They are surrounded by high mountains, and at the fjord Nordfjord. The glacier Jostedalsbreen is not far away. The villages are on the shore of Nordfjord, some 8 km apart.

Sandane is the administrative centre of Gloppen Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is located at the end of the Gloppefjorden, along the European route E39 highway.
