Thame

Kongde Ri

Kongde Ri is a mountain in the Himalayas of eastern Nepal. The mountain is located four km west of Namche Bazaar. The mountain is classified as a trekking peak, but it is considered one of the more difficult ones to climb. Kongde Ri is situated 4½ km south of Thame.

Khunde is a village in the Khumbu region of Nepal within the Sagarmatha National Park. It is directly adjacent to Khumjung village in the valley at the foot of Khumbu Yül-Lha, the sacred mountain of the Sherpas.

Namche Bazaar is the unofficial capital of the Khumbu region of Nepal, and is a major stop-off point for trekkers and climbers heading for Mount Everest base camp.
