Thapsos was a prehistoric village in Sicily of the middle Bronze Age. It was found by the Italian archaeologist Paolo Orsi on the small peninsula of Magnisi, near Priolo Gargallo. Thapsos is situated 3½ km east of Masseria Girotta.
