Charterhouse School

Charterhouse is a public school for pupils aged 13–18, located in the market town of Godalming, in Surrey, England. Founded by Thomas Sutton in 1611 on the site of the old Carthusian monastery in Charterhouse Square, Smithfield, London, it educates over 1000 pupils. Charterhouse School is situated 1,600 feet west of New Science Block.

Farncombe railway station opened in 1897 as a minor stop on the Portsmouth Direct Line between Guildford and Godalming, England. It is said to have been built at the instigation of General Sir Frederick Marshall, a director of the London and South Western Railway Company, who lived nearby at Broadwater. Farncombe railway station is situated 3,900 feet east of New Science Block.

The station, opened in 1859 to replace one on a different site, is situated at the edge of the town of Godalming, Surrey. Godalming railway station is situated 4,200 feet south of New Science Block.
