Hurst Point Lighthouse

Hurst Point Lighthouse is located at Hurst Point in the English county of Hampshire, and guides vessels through the western approaches to the Solent. Hurst Point Lighthouse is situated 1½ miles south of Fishtail Lagoon.

Hurst Spit is a one-mile-long shingle bank near the village of Keyhaven, at the western end of the Solent, on the south coast of England. The spit shelters an area of saltmarsh and mudflats known as Keyhaven and Pennington marshes. Hurst Spit is situated 1½ miles southwest of Fishtail Lagoon.

Fort Victoria is a former military fort on the Isle of Wight, England, built to guard the Solent. The earliest fort on the site was a coastal fort known as Sharpenode Bulwark built in 1545–1547 by Henry VIII, but these defences had fallen into disrepair by the 17th century. Fort Victoria is situated 2 miles southeast of Fishtail Lagoon.
