The Church of St Thomas is the parish church of the village of Redwick, to the south east of the city of Newport, South Wales, Great Britain. A medieval church, Perpendicular in style, and with elements dating from the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries, possibly with twelfth-century origins, it was listed Grade I on 3 January 1963.

Magor Marsh is a 36-hectare wetland reserve, located on the Welsh side of the Severn Estuary. It is managed by the Gwent Wildlife Trust. It has a great variety of habitats, including damp hay meadows, sedge fen, reed bed, scrub and wet woodland. Magor Marsh is situated 1½ miles northeast of New House.

It is located about 3 miles west of Caldicot and 10 miles east of Newport, close to the junction of the M4 and M48 motorways, and adjoins the Caldicot Levels on the north bank of the Bristol Channel. Undy is situated 2½ miles northeast of New House.
