Glencoe is a hauntingly scenic valley in the western Scottish Highlands, a branch of The Great Glen which carves coast to coast. It's also the name of the village at its foot, where the glen meets the sea at Loch Leven.

Bidean nam Bian is the highest peak in a group of mountains south of Glen Coe and north of Glen Etive in the Scottish Highlands. With a height of 1,150 metres, it is a Munro and the highest point in Argyll. Bidean nam Bian is situated 2 miles east of Glencoe Mountain Cottages.

Glencoe or Glencoe Village is the main settlement in Glen Coe in the Lochaber area of the Scottish Highlands. It lies at the north-west end of the glen, on the southern bank of the River Coe where it enters Loch Leven. Glencoe is situated 2½ miles north of Glencoe Mountain Cottages.

The Aonach Eagach is a large mountain ridge in the Scottish Highlands, marking the northern edge of Glen Coe. It stretches east–west for several miles and includes two Munro summits: Sgùrr nam Fiannaidh at 967 m high, and Meall Dearg at 952 m high. Aonach Eagach is situated 3 miles northeast of Glencoe Mountain Cottages.
