Korenmarkt

The Korenmarkt is a city square in the historic centre of Ghent, East Flanders, Belgium. Located between the Leie river and St. Nicholas' Church, it is one of the city's most important and famous tourist locations.

Saint Nicholas‘ Church

St. Nicholas Church is a Roman Catholic church, as well as one of the oldest and most prominent landmarks in Ghent, Belgium. Begun in the early 13th century as a replacement for an earlier Romanesque church, construction continued through the rest of the century in the local Scheldt Gothic style.

The Gravensteen is a medieval castle in the city of Ghent, East Flanders in Belgium. The current castle dates from 1180 and was the residence of the Counts of Flanders until 1353. Castle of the Counts is situated 300 metres north of Korenmarkt.

The Belfry of Ghent is one of three medieval towers that overlook the old city centre of Ghent, Belgium; the other two belonging to Saint Bavo's Cathedral and Saint Nicholas' Church. Belfry of Ghent is situated 220 metres southeast of Korenmarkt.

The Prinsenhof or Hof ten Walle was a historic building in Ghent, East Flanders in Belgium. It served as the official residence of the Counts of Flanders from the 15th century after the Gravensteen fell into disuse, having previously been the home of the financier Simon de Mirabello.
