San Lodovico

San Lodovico is a Baroque-style, Roman Catholic church and former monastery located on 5 Piazza de' Ranieri in Orvieto, Umbria, central Italy. The monastery is occupied by Sisters of the Company of Maria Nostra Signora, a religious order which runs a nursery school and hostel lodgings.

It dates to the 12th century and is noted for its distinctive decagonal bell tower. the church rises adjacent to the Palazzo Comunale or city hall of Orvieto. The Crocifisso del Tufo is an Etruscan necropolis in Orvieto, Umbria, Italy. The necropolis owes its name to a crucifix engraved in the tuff inside a rock chapel, carved into the rock on which the city stands. Crocifisso del Tufo is situated 430 metres north of San Lodovico.
