The Zebrastraat is a small street in the Belgian city of Ghent. The first worker housing building in the country, designed by the architect Charles van Rysselberghe in 1906, is located in the Zebrastraat. Zebrastraat is situated 400 metres west of Cotton Island.

The Museum of Fine Arts an art museum in Ghent, Belgium, is situated at the East side of the Citadelpark. The museum's collection consists of some 9000 artworks, dating from the Middle Ages to the 20th century. Museum of Fine Arts is situated 1 km west of Cotton Island.

Our-Lady Ter Hooyen

The small beguinage of Our-Lady Ter Hooyen is situated in southern area of Ghent, Belgium. This beguinage was built on the 'Groene Hooie', between the 'Hooipoort' and the 'Vijfwindgatenpoort'. That is how this little beguinage got its name. Our-Lady Ter Hooyen is situated 730 metres north of Cotton Island.
