Schrassig Prison is the only closed penitentiary in Luxembourg. The prison is located near the towns of Schrassig, Sandweiler and Oetrange and is built upon land belonging to the commune of Schuttrange. Schrassig Prison is situated 150 metres northwest of Gymnase.

Oetrange railway station is a railway station serving Oetrange, in the commune of Contern, in southern Luxembourg. It is operated by Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois, the state-owned railway company. Oetrange railway station is situated 1¼ km southeast of Gymnase.

Oetrange is a small town in the commune of Contern, in south-eastern Luxembourg. As of 2025, the town has a population of 1,068. The town is served by Oetrange railway station, which lies on CFL Line 30.
