Aventine Hill

The Aventine Hill is one of the Seven Hills on which ancient Rome was built. It belongs to Ripa, the modern twelfth rione, or ward, of Rome.

Cloaca Maxima

The Cloaca Maxima was originally built to drain the rain water from the city of Rome, and is one of the world's earliest drainage systems. Its name is related to that of Cloacina, a Roman goddess. Cloaca Maxima is situated 530 metres north of Giardino Piero Piccioni.

Arch of Constantine

The Arch of Constantine is a triumphal arch in Rome dedicated to the emperor Constantine the Great. The arch was commissioned by the Roman Senate to commemorate Constantine's victory over Maxentius at the Battle of the Milvian Bridge in AD 312. Arch of Constantine is situated 1 km northeast of Giardino Piero Piccioni.
