Miltonduff is a hamlet 1.5 miles southwest of Elgin and is in the Scottish council area of Moray. Miltonduff is situated 2½ miles southeast of Millstone Cottage.

Cummingston is located in Moray on the north-east coast of Scotland. It lies on the B9012, sandwiched between the two fishing villages of Hopeman and Burghead. It was known as "the Collach", possibly from Scottish Gaelic an Coileach meaning "eddy". Cummingston is situated 4½ miles north of Millstone Cottage.
