Catacombs of Paris

The Catacombs of Paris are underground ossuaries in Paris, France, which hold the remains of more than six million people. Built to consolidate Paris's ancient stone quarries, they extend south from the Barrière d'Enfer former city gate.

Montparnasse Tower

Tour Maine-Montparnasse, also commonly named Tour Montparnasse, is a 210-metre office skyscraper in the Montparnasse area of Paris, France. Constructed from 1969 to 1973, it was the tallest skyscraper in France until 2011, when it was surpassed by the 231-metre Tour First in the La Défense business district west of Paris's city limits.

Gare Montparnasse, officially Paris Montparnasse and formerly Gare de l'Ouest, is one of the seven large Paris railway termini, and is located in the 14th and 15th arrondissements.

Although largely residential, the 14th arrondissement is best known for its northeastern quartier Montparnasse, for the Paris Catacombs and the Parc Montsouris.

15th arrondissement

The 15th arrondissement of Paris is in the city's southwest on the Left Bank of the Seine. Quite up-market and quiet, it is the largest arrondissement by both area and population.

Sceaux

Sceaux is a wealthy suburb located about 10 km to the south of the centre of Paris. It is mostly known for the Château and Parc de Sceaux, designed by André Le Nôtre who was also responsible for designing the gardens of the Versailles Palace.
