Crosskirk Broch was a fortification near the present day hamlet of Crosskirk near Thurso, Caithness, Scotland. After thorough archaeological exploration it was destroyed in 1972 since the site had become unsafe due to sea erosion. Crosskirk Broch is situated 1 mile northeast of Green Tullochs Cairn.
RAF Dounreay

Was an airfield in Dounreay, UK that opened in April 1944. In 1955 the airfield was taken over by the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority for developing a fast breeder reactor. One runway was kept operational until the 1990s for transport to/from the site. RAF Dounreay is situated 2 miles southwest of Green Tullochs Cairn.
