Lismore is an island ten miles north of Oban in the sea inlet of Loch Linnhe. It's one of the Inner Hebrides islands, but little developed for tourism, and overlooked by visitors who sail by on the ferries.

Eilean Musdile is an islet, and lighthouse to the south west of Lismore in the Inner Hebrides. The island lies in the entrance to Loch Linnhe, separated from Lismore by a sound ¼ miles across. Lismore Lighthouse is situated 1 mile southwest of Dun Chruban.

Lochdon or Lochdonhead is a small village on the Isle of Mull, in the council area of Argyll and Bute, off the west coast of Scotland. The village is within the parish of Torosay, just south of Craignure on the A849 at the head of Loch Don. Lochdon is situated 4½ miles southwest of Dun Chruban.
