Soa is an uninhabited tidal island off the coast of Tiree, to the south of the settlement of Ruaig. At low tide it is joined to mainland Tiree by a sand tombolo and numerous rocky outcrops.

Scarinish is the main village on the island of Tiree, in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland. It is located on the south coast of the island, between Hynish Bay to the southwest and Gott Bay to the northeast. Scarinish is situated 3½ miles southwest of Sgeir Uilleim.
