Place Broglie

The Place Broglie is one of the main squares of Strasbourg, France. It is located on the Grande Île, the ancient city center, and has an elongated rectangular shape that is some 275 metres long and 50 metres wide.

The Hôtel de Hanau, also known as the Hôtel de ville and as the Hanauer Hof, is a historic building located on the Place Broglie on the Grande Île in the city center of Strasbourg, in the French department of the Bas-Rhin.

The Grande Île is an island that lies at the historic centre of Strasbourg, France. Its name derives from the fact that it is surrounded on one side by the main channel of the Ill river and on the other side by the Canal du Faux-Rempart, a canalised arm of that river. Grande Île is situated 310 metres southwest of Place Broglie.
