Paris Square

Paris Square is a town square in Rehavia, Jerusalem. The name France Square was established in 1959. In 2007 the city of Paris gave Jerusalem a "French Fountain" that was built in the middle of the square.

Beit Aghion, also known as Beit Rosh HaMemshala or metonymously as Balfour, is the official residence of the prime minister of Israel. It is located at 9 Smolenskin Street, on the corner of Balfour Street in the upscale central Jerusalem neighborhood of Rehavia. Prime Minister’s residence is situated 170 metres south of Paris Square.

The Jerusalem Great Synagogue is an Orthodox Jewish congregation and synagogue, located at 56 King George Street, Jerusalem, Israel. Different parts of the congregation worship in the Ashkenazi and Sephardic rites. Great Synagogue is situated 120 metres northwest of Paris Square.

Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities

Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities, based in Jerusalem, was established in 1961 by the State of Israel to foster contact between Israeli scholars in the sciences and humanities and create a think tank for advising the government on research projects of national importance. Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities is situated 540 metres south of Paris Square.
