The Tarong Power Station is a coal fired power station located on a 1,500 hectares site in Tarong in the South Burnett Region near the town of Nanango, in Queensland, Australia. Tarong Power Station is situated 1 km east of H018 Tarong Substation.

Tarong North Power Station is a 443-megawatt coal-fired power station on the same site as Tarong Power Station in the South Burnett. The Queensland Government commissioned the construction of the power station in November 1999. Tarong North Power Station is situated 1½ km northeast of H018 Tarong Substation.
