Franklin Square is a 1.6-acre oak-lined public square located in the Hobart central business district in Tasmania, Australia. It is named for the British Royal Navy officer and Arctic explorer Sir John Franklin, who served as the 4th Lieutenant-Governor of Van Diemen's Land.
