Trinity College is a constituent college of the University of Oxford in England. The college was founded in 1555 by Sir Thomas Pope, on land previously occupied by Durham College, home to Benedictine monks from Durham Cathedral.

Exeter College is one of the constituent colleges of the University of Oxford in England, and the fourth-oldest college of the university. The college was founded in 1314 by two brothers from Devon, Bishop Walter Stapledon and Sir Richard Stapledon, as an institution to educate clergy, and has been located on Turl Street since 1315. Exeter College is situated 670 feet southeast of Balliol College.
