Sant’Erasmo

Sant'Erasmo is an island in the Venetian Lagoon lying north of the Lido and northeast of Venice. Its population has declined to about 725 in 2011.

Mazzorbo is one of various islands in the northern part of the Lagoon of Venice. Like the other islands in this part of the lagoon, it was the site of one of the earliest settlements in the lagoon which predated the development of Venice.
