La Corte

Fort Corte is an Austro-Hungarian fort built on the slopes of Col di Lana in what is now Northern Italy. Fort Corte was built alongside the Ruaz Roadblock to guard Val di Livinallongo.

Ruaz Roadblock is an Austro-Hungarian fortification built in Subrayon V of the Austro-Hungarian fortifications on the Italian border. The roadblock was built between 1897 and 1900, on the slopes of Col Di Lana, 1400m above sea level, in what is now Northern Italy. Ruaz roadblock is situated 650 metres west of La Corte.

The Col di Lana is a mountain of the Fanes Group in the Italian Dolomites. The actual peak is called Cima Lana and situated in the municipality of Livinallongo del Col di Lana in the Province of Belluno, Veneto region. Col di Lana is situated 2½ km east of La Corte.

Livinallongo del Col di Lana is a comune in the Province of Belluno in the Italian region Veneto, located about 120 kilometres north of Venice and about 45 kilometres northwest of Belluno. Ninety percent of the population speak Ladin as their native language. Livinallongo del Col di Lana is situated 2½ km southeast of La Corte.
