Ruaz roadblock

Ruaz Roadblock is an Austro-Hungarian fortification built in Subrayon V of the Austro-Hungarian fortifications on the Italian border. The roadblock was built between 1897 and 1900, on the slopes of Col Di Lana, 1400m above sea level, in what is now Northern Italy.

Fort Corte is an Austro-Hungarian fortification built on the slopes of Col di Lana in what is now Northern Italy. Fort Corte was built alongside the Ruaz roadblock to guard Val di Livinallongo. Fort Corte is situated 650 metres east of Ruaz roadblock.

The Col di Lana is a mountain of the Fanes Group in the Italian Dolomites. The actual peak is called Cima Lana and situated in the municipality of Livinallongo del Col di Lana in the Province of Belluno, Veneto region. Col di Lana is situated 3 km east of Ruaz roadblock.

The Campolongo Pass is a high mountain pass in the Dolomites in South Tyrol in Italy. It connects Corvara in the Val Badia and Arabba. The pass can be crossed in winter on skis. Campolongo Pass is situated 4 km northwest of Ruaz roadblock.
