Trimontium was a Roman fort complex located at Newstead, near Melrose, in the Scottish Borders, beneath the three Eildon Hills which almost certainly gave it its name. Trimontium is situated 2,800 feet west of Trimontium viewing platform.

Eildon Hill lies just south of Melrose, Scotland in the Scottish Borders, overlooking the town. The name is usually pluralised into "the Eildons" or "Eildon Hills", because of its triple peak. Eildon Hill is situated 1½ miles southwest of Trimontium viewing platform.

Priorwood Garden is a garden in Melrose in the Scottish Borders area of Scotland. The garden contains an apple orchard of unusual apple trees.
