Calbha Beag is an uninhabited island in Eddrachillis Bay, off Sutherland, Highland, Scotland. It is immediately to the west of Calbha Mor. An estimate of the area from Ordnance Survey suggest a figure of about 31 hectares, although it has been listed by Rick Livingstone as totalling 45 hectares, possibly including areas exposed at low tide. Calbha Beag is situated 2 miles west of Loch a’Mhinidh.

Kylesku is a fishing hamlet in Sutherland in the Scottish Highlands. Until 1984, it was the site of a free ferry. It takes its name from Caolas Cumhann, Gaelic for "narrow strait", which is the channel just to the west of the village that connects Loch Glencoul and Loch Glendubh to Loch a' Chàirn Bhàin. Kylesku is situated 3½ miles southeast of Loch a’Mhinidh.

Scourie, historically spelled "Scoury", is a village on the north west coast of Scotland, about halfway between Ullapool and Durness. The name comes from the Gaelic word Sheiling or shed, a stone-built place of shelter used during the summer months. Scourie is situated 4½ miles northwest of Loch a’Mhinidh.
