Kumlu is a municipality and district of Hatay Province, Turkey. Its area is 193 km2, and its population is 13,333. It lies in the Amik Valley plain, on the road between Antakya and Reyhanlı. Kumlu is situated 6 km northeast of Hasanuçağı Höyük.

The Amik Valley is a plain in Hatay Province, southern Turkey. It is close to the city of Antakya. Along with Dabiq in northwestern Syria, it is believed to be one of two possible sites of the battle of Armageddon according to Islamic eschatology. Amik Valley is situated 9 km west of Hasanuçağı Höyük.
