Hatay

Antalya is a city in Pamphylia on the Turkish Mediterranean coast, and the chief resort of the "Turkish Riviera". It's a metropolis with a population of 2.7 million in 2022, the fifth largest city in the country.
Adana

Adana is a city on the Cilician Plains of central Turkey, on the Seyhan River about 50 km from the Mediterranean coast. It's industrial and mostly modern but with several places of interest in its historic centre.

Lycia is the westernmost section of Mediterranean Turkey. Sometimes known as the Turquoise Coast, it has a rugged scenic coastline popular for water activities.

The Cilician Plains, or Çukurova in Turkish, is a region on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey. It's ringed by the pine-clad Taurus Mountains dropping sharply to a pancake-flat, sticky-hot agricultural land.

Pamphylia is a region along the Mediterranean coast of Turkey. It has long sandy beaches, water sports, Roman ruins, museums and lots of hotels, so it's a popular region all-round for holidays.

The Turkish Lake District or Turkish Lakeland is an area with a series of shallow tectonic lakes within the folds of the Taurus Mountains in Southwestern Anatolia, Turkey The major lakes are Acıgöl, Akşehir, Beyşehir, Burdur, Eğirdir, and the smaller ones are Akgöl, Lake Çavuşçu, Eber, Işıklı, Karamık, Karataş, Kovada, Salda, Suğla and Yarışlı.

The Cilician Mountains rise abruptly from the Mediterranean coast of Turkey. The region is dotted with ancient ruins and medieval castles, but few overseas travellers come this way.
