Gabii

Gabii was an ancient city of Latium, located 18 km due east of Rome along the Via Praenestina, known in earlier times as the Via Gabina. It lies within an archaeological park in which many remains have been recently unearthed. Gabii is situated 250 metres northwest of Forum of Gabii.

Monte Compatri-Pantano is the eastern terminus of Line C of the Rome Metro. It is located in Pantano, along the Via Casilina; thus being the only Roman Metro station outside the Rome municipality border. Monte Compatri-Pantano is situated 2½ km south of Forum of Gabii.
