Mishmar HaNegev is a kibbutz in the northern fringe of the Negev desert in southern Israel. Located on Road 264, about two kilometres south of the Bedouin city of Rahat and around ten kilometres from Beersheba, it falls under the jurisdiction of Bnei Shimon Regional Council. Mishmar HaNegev is situated 2½ km south of Rahat Cemetery.

Rahat is a city of 70,000 in the southern Negev region of Israel. It was founded in 1972 as a home for the previously nomadic Bedouin Arabs, who form the large majority of its population. It is the largest Bedouin settlement in the world.

Shoval is a kibbutz in southern Israel. Located in the northern Negev desert near the Bedouin city of Rahat, it falls under the jurisdiction of Bnei Shimon Regional Council. In 2023 it had a population of 1,032. Shoval is situated 3½ km northeast of Rahat Cemetery.
