Khirbet Bad 'Issa or Khirbet Bad-'Issa is an archaeological site located in the central West Bank, within Modi'in Illit. Archaeological evidence suggests that the site was founded in the 3rd century BCE, during the Hellenistic period, as a seasonal agricultural settlement. Khirbet Badd Isa is situated 690 metres southwest of Modi’in Illit.

The site represents a rural Jewish village from the late Second Temple period, founded in the 2nd century BCE and reaching its peak during the late Hellenistic and early Roman periods. Khirbet Abu ed-Dinein is situated 1 km southwest of Modi’in Illit.

Modi'in Illit is a Haredi Jewish-Israeli settlement organized as a city council in the West Bank, situated midway between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Built on the land of five Palestinian villages–Ni'lin, Kharbata, Saffa, Bil'in, and Dir Qadis–Modi'in Illit was granted city status by the Israeli government in 2008.
