Roma Tiburtina is the second largest railway station in Rome, after Roma Termini. Located in the north-eastern part of the city, it was originally constructed during the 1860s as a terminal station, and redeveloped during the 2010's. Roma Tiburtina Railway Station is situated 1 km east of Sant’Ippolito.

Bologna is a station on Line B of the Rome Metro. It is an underground station located under Piazza Bologna. It was opened on 8 December 1990. It was involved in the October 2005 building works for line B1, a branch line off line B, a fairly complicated construction project that required special mitigation to existing buildings. Metro Bologna is situated 340 metres north of Sant’Ippolito.
