Kazan-Passazhirskaya is a railway station in the capital of Tatarstan — Kazan in Russia. Kazan railway station is situated 130 metres northwest of Station Square.

The Kul Sharif Mosque located in Kazan Kremlin, was reputed to be – at the time of its construction – one of the largest mosques in Russia, and in Europe outside of Istanbul. Kul-Sharif mosque is situated 1¼ km north of Station Square.

The Old Tatar Quarter is a historical area in the southern part of the Vakhitovsky district in Kazan, the capital of Tatarstan, Russia. The quarter stretches from northwest to southeast and is located between Lake Nizhniy Kaban and the Bolaq channel in the east, the southern intracity railway tracks in the west, the Central Market in the north and Vakhit Square in the south.
