Windermere School is a independent co-educational boarding and day school in the English Lake District. Founded in 1863, it has approximately 300 pupils between the ages of 3 and 18, around a third of whom are boarders.

Holehird Gardens is an extensive 10-acre site located near Windermere, Cumbria, England. It is the home of the Lakeland Horticultural Society. The garden consists of a large variety of plants, particularly those suited to the local climate with its high rainfall. Holehird Gardens is situated 2,100 feet north of Main Building.
