Spui
The Spui is a square in the centre of Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands. The Spui was originally a body of water that formed the southern limit of the city until the 1420s, when the Singel canal was dug as an outer moat around the city.| Tap on a place to explore it |

Canal District

The Canal District is the famous 17th-century district surrounding the Binnenstad of Amsterdam. The whole district is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its unique cultural and historical value, and its property values are among the highest in the country.

The Begijnhof is one of the oldest hofjes in Amsterdam, Netherlands. A group of historic buildings, mostly private dwellings, centre on it. As the name suggests, it was originally a béguinage.

Due to the renovation of its main location, the museum is temporarily located in the Amstelhof on the Amstel River, together with H'ART Museum and the dependence of the Museum van de Geest. Amsterdam Museum is situated 190 metres north of Spui.
