Beijing Zoo is a zoological park in Xizhimen, Xicheng District, Beijing. Founded in 1906 during the late Qing dynasty, it is the oldest zoo in China and oldest public park in northern China. Beijing Zoo is situated 1½ km west of Beijingbei Railway Station.

It is commonly referred to as Xitang to the locals. Our Lady of Mount Carmel (West Church is situated 1¼ km southeast of Beijingbei Railway Station.
